     Sour Cream Beef and Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
8 oz package egg noodles
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 cup chopped onion
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
 
8 oz package shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Cook noodles; drain. Combine noodles with cottage cheese and sour cream. Brown ground chuck, add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
Put half the noodle mixture in bottom of greased 2 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Add half the meat mixture. Repeat layers and top with cheddar cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Note- I use more tomato sauce- 1 1/2 to 2 cans.
