Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl measure all dry ingredients.
In electric mixer, cream butter and add sugar a little at a time, gradually add eggs, one at a time, add orange peel and extracts. Beat in flour mixture until just combined. Stir in walnuts. Chill dough for several hours or overnight.
If you don’t have a Silpat, grease pan.
Using floured hands, divide dough and form into logs on cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes until golden. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Cut into slices and stand up on cookie sheet and return to oven to toast about 15 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
