     Quick Cheese and Pepper Bread

2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
2 eggs

Heat oven to 350. Grease loaf pan. Combine dry ingredients and cheese in large bowl. In small bowl, combine wet ingredients. Add to dry; stir until moistened. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.
To substitute for butter milk, use 1 Tbsp vinegar or lemon juice plus milk to make 1 cup.
