3 envelopes (0,15 oz. each) orange unsweetened drink mix
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups (4 sticks) butter, softened, divided
1 cup plus 6 tablespoons milk, divided
3 teaspoons vanilla, divided
6 cups powdered sugar
Orange food coloring
1) Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 24 standard (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups with paper baking cups.
2) Combine flour, drink mix, baking powder and salt in small bowl; mix well. Beat granulated sugar and 1 cup butter in large bowl at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour mix; beat until well blended. Add 1 cup milk and 2 teaspoons vanilla; beat until smooth. Spoon evenly into prepared muffin cups.
3) Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
4) Beat powdered sugar, remaining 1 cup butter, 6 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla in large bowl at medium speed until fluffy. Add food coloring, a few drops at a time,until desired shade is reached. 5) Frost cupcakes; top with sprinkles.
