     Caramel Frosting

Servings   3 cups

Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
 

Instructions
1) Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, evaporated milk and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove to lagre bowl; cool slightly.
2) Add powdered sugar; beat at medium speed until smooth. Add vanilla; beat until frosting reaches desired spreading consistancy.
