     Chocolate Sweetheart Cupcakes

Ingredients
1 package (about 18 oz.) chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare mix
1 container (16 oz) vanilla frosting
3 tablespoons seedless raspberry jam
 

Instructions
1) Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 24 standard (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups with paper baking cups. 2) Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon evenly into prepared muffin cups.
3) Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
4) Cut off rounded tops of cupcakes with serrated knife. Cut out heart shape from each cupcake top with mini cookie cutter; reserve cuot outsif desired.
5) Stir frosting and jam in medium bowl until well bleded. Spread frosting mix generously over cupcake bottoms, mounding slightly in center. Replace cupcake tops, pressing gently to fill hearts with frosting mix. Garnish with heart cut outs, if desired.
