     Spider Web Pull-Apart Cake

1 package (about 9 oz.) yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare mix
Red and yellow food coloring
1 container (16 oz) white frosting
Black decorating icing
1 black licorice
1 small chocolate wafer
2 mini marshmallows

1) Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 12 standard (2 1/2-inch) muffin cups with paper baking cups. 2) Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon evenly into prepared muffin cups. 3) Bake 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
4) Place 1 cupcake in center of serving platter; arrange remaining 6 cupcakes around center. Reserve remaining 5 cupcakes for another use.
5) Add food coloring to frosting, a few drops at a time, until desired shade is reached. Frost cupcakes, spreading frosting so that the entire top is covered.
6) Starting in the center, pipe decorating icing in spiral pattern. Using toothpick or small knife, draw lines from center to outer edge of cupcakes to create web pattern. 7) Cut licorice into 8 pieces; place in two rows of four on one end of wed for spider legs. Top with wafer. Dot icing on bottom of each marshmallow; place on wafer. Pipe small dot of icing on each marshmallow for eyes.
