     How to Microwave Chicken

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients

Instructions
1. Make sure the chicken is cooked thoroughly when cooking in a microwave, as eating raw meat can cause illness. Even the best microwave oven may heat food unevenly, so make sure that all parts of the chicken are cooked.
2.Set three raw boneless chicken breasts in the bowl. The thickest parts should face the outside of the bowl. Cover with the lid. Leave one corner open for ventilation.
3.Cook on medium power for 6 minutes per pound. Check the package of chicken for the weight.
4.After the meat is done cooking, take it out of the microwave. Use a meat thermometer to check the center of the chicken. The center should be at least 165 degrees, or slice into different areas of the piece of chicken and check to see that the chicken is cooked through.
