     Easy Country Gravy

Ingredients
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup all-purpose flor
4 cups milk
seasoning, for flovor
grease from browning bacon or sausage
chicken or beet stock for flovor, if desired
 

Instructions
1) Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; whisk in the flour and seasonings until smooth.
2) Cook and stir over medium heat until browned (about 10 minutes, the mix must be browned!)
3) Gradually whisk in milk; cook/whisk until smooth and thickened (no lumps must remain)
4) If the gravy becomes too thick add in a little more milk and whisk until smooth and heated.
