     Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
3/4 C Margarine (melted)
3 tsp. brown sugar
2 1/2 C crushed pretzels
1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 Large pkg. frozen strawberries
1 C sugar
1 (8 Oz) cream cheese
1 Carton Cool Whip
 

Instructions
Combine margarine, brown sugar and crushed pretzels; mix well. Pat into lightly buttered 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Dissolve Jell-O into boiling water (follow Jell-O instructions for the amount of water.) While still hot, add the slightly thawed strawberries. Cool mixture in refrigerator until it begins to set. Cream the cream cheese and white sugar; folding the whipped topping.
Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled pretzel crust. When gelatin begins to set, pour over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until firm, preferably over night.
