     Crock Pot Stew

Ingredients
2 lbs stew meat chunks
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/2 c water
 

Instructions
Place stew meat into crock pot.
In a separate bowl, mix soup, soup mix and water until smooth. Pour over stew meat in crock pot.
Cover and cook on high for four hours. Remove from crock pot and allow to cool. Place in gallon freezer bag or into a plastic freezer container. Label and freeze.
To serve: Thaw. Heat in microwave or on stove top until hot and bubbly. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or hot buttered noodles. ***To turn into Stroganoff, saute 3/4 c. sliced mushrooms in 2 Tbsp butter until lightly browned and limp. Add to thawed crock pot stew. Heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and add 1 c. sour cream. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
