     Italian Roast

Ingredients
3-4 pound pot roast
1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic, minced
fresh chopped mushrooms to taste. I use 1 fresh package. recipe calls for only 4 chopped mushrooms.
1 onion, diced
1 package spaghetti sauce mix
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
 

Instructions
Season roast with salt. Place in crock pot. Add garlic, mushrooms and onion. In a separate bowl, mix spaghetti sauce mix and tomato sauce. Pour over roast and vegetables.
Cover and cook on Low for 10-12 hours or on High for 4-6 hours. Remove from crock pot and allow to cool.
Place in gallon freezer bag. Label. Freeze.
To serve: Remove from roast bag. Melt 2 Tbsp butter or margarine in sauce pan. Add 2 Tbsp flour. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Add sauce from freezer bag. Cook until thick and bubbly. Add sliced or shredded roast. Heat through and serve over pasta.
