     Black Bean and Corn

Ingredients
minced garlic
1 tbsp canola oil
1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (8.5 ounces) whole kernel corn
3/4 cup water
salt (optional)
 

Instructions
Put the canola oil and garlic in a saucepan and heat until golden brown.
Add in the water, beans, and corn to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook until most of the liquid is gone; About 10 minutes. Salt to taste.
