     Parmesan Sourdough Croutons

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   8
Preptime   5

Ingredients
7 large pieces of cubed day old sourdough bread
3 tbsp grass fed butter, melted
1/2 tsp unrefined garlic salt
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 F. If using fresh bread, cut the bread into cubes and leave on the counter top for a day so it gets stale and a bit hard. Place day old bread cubes into a bowl. Place the melted butter in a small bowl and add in the garlic salt and Italian seasoning and stir well. Pour over the bread cubes and toss well so that the bread gets evenly coated. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and toss bread cubes until they are all evenly coated. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes, turning them over at the 15 minute mark. Allow to cool and store in an air tight container.
