     Buttermilk Scones

Ingredients
1 quart butter milk warmed
2 tbs yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs oil
3 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 t salt
6 - 8 cups flour
 

Instructions
In a large bowl place the yeast and water. Add warmed buttermilk. Add other ingredients and four cups of flour. Beat until very smooth, add the rest of the flour to make a soft dough. Allow to rise to double amount. Mix down and place in regrigerator overnight. Turn out on floured board, roll out before frying. Cut with pizza cutter and fry in hot oil.
