     Herbed Skillet Pork Chops

Ingredients
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
salt to taste
4 pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp water, divided
1 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp chopped parsley
 

Instructions
Combine thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt; sprinkle over chops. In skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; add port chops and cook 10 minutes or until slightly browned, turning once. Remove pork and keep warm, add 1/2 cup water to the skillet and, using a ire whisk, scrape the pan to gt up all the browned bits. Bring water to a boil and add chops back in; cover, reduce heat and cook 10-20 minutes, depending on thickness of chops, until pork is done.
Remove chops from skillet. Combine cornstarch and remaining 1 tbsp water. Add o pan juices; cook until thickened and translucent, stirring or whisking constantly. Pour sauce over chops and sprinkle with parsley.
