     Beet & Bean Borsht

Ingredients
6 large beets (julienne cut)
1 1/2 lbs. small white beans
1 onion (chopped)
1 pkg. country style spareribs
Salt & Pepper
 

Instructions
In a dutch oven pot cook beans, onion & meat. Do not all salt until beans are almost done, approximately 3 hours. In a large pot cook beets until cooked with salt. Do not drain the beets. When the beans are done, add the beets with the liquid.
