     24 Hour Fruit Salad

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   8 - 10
Preptime   20 minutes/1 day

Ingredients
2 cups grapes (cut in half if you are serving little ones!)
2 cups pineapple cubes, drained
2 cups mandarin oranges, drained
2 cups mini-marshmallows
1/4 lb. slivered almonds
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons of sugar
1/4 cup coffee cream
Juice of 1 lemon

1 cup heavy whipping cream (whipped)

Instructions
Line a large bowl with many paper towels. Put all the fruit in the bowl over the paper towels. The trick to this fruit salad is to thoroughly drain the fruit; otherwise the mixture will be runny! I usually change out the paper towels 2 or 3 times before adding the cream sauce.
Beat 2 eggs till lightly beaten. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/4 cup coffee cream and the juice of a real lemon. Cook on the stove until smooth and thick. Let Cool.
Once the mixture has cooled, mix with 1 cup whipped heavy whipping cream. Pur over fruit and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Delicious!
Serving Suggestions
Was great as a side to tenderloin.
