     Cold Apple Soup (Hungarian)

Ingredients
1 pound apples, cubed
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cloves
Dash of cinnamon
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon white wine
1 pint milk
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
 
1/2 cup heavy cream or sour cream

Instructions
Cook apples, sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon, and lemon juice in 1 quart of water until tender. Add white wid and milk, stiring gently while soup is simmering. mix cream and flour until smooth and add to soup to thicken. Bring to a boil, simmer until thoroughly cooked, and adjust seasonings.
Serving Suggestions
Serve Chilled
