Ingredients
1 cup white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp wheat germ
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup butter
 
1/2 cup and 1 tbsp brown sugar, packed
4 egg whites, beaten
2 1/3 cup mashed bananas
1 tsp vanilla

Instructions
Grease loaf pan. In large bowl comgine flours, soda, salt, wheat germ, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add chopped nuts.
In seperate bowl cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs until well blended. Add mashed bananas and vanilla, stir well.
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stir just until moistened. Pour batter into greased pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Serving Suggestions
8 servings, each: 300 calories, 7g fat (4 g sat, 1 g poly, 2 g mono), 57 g carb, 4 g fiber, 7 g protein.
