     Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup butter
3 tbs white sugar
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1 container (8 oz) cool whip
2 packages (3 oz) strawberry jello
 
2 cups boiling water
2 packages (frozen strawberries)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400'F 2. Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter and 3 tbs. sugar, mix well and press mixture into bottom of 9x13 glass pan. 3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until set. Set aside to cool 4. In a large mixing bowl, cream together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in cool whip. Spread mixture onto cooled crust. 5. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in still frozen strawberries and allow to set briefly. When mixture is about the consistency of egg whites, pour and spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set.
