SOFTEN YEAST IN 1/4 CUP WARM WATER. COMBINE REMAINING WATER, SUGAR, SALT AND SHORTENING; COOL. ADD EGGS AND YEAST. MIX WELL. ADD FLOUR TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH. COVER-SIT IN WARM PLACE UNTIL DOUBLED. SHAPE ROLLS, LET RISE IN GREASED PAN. BAKE AT 375, 10-15 MINUTES.
