heat the margarine or butter over med-high heat until melted.
Stir in the flour,salt and pepper and dry mustard. Cook over med-high heat until smooth and bubbly. Remove from the heat and add the milk. Heat to boiling. Stirring constantly until the cheese is melted.
Variations- Dill Sauce to the white sauce stir in 1 tsp chopped DILL (eleminate the dry mustard)
