1 1/2 lbs. cod fillets

2 qts. vegetable oil for frying

Instructions |

|
In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda,and cornstarch. Set aside.

In a large bowl beat together eggs and milk. Mix in beer. Stir in flour mixtrue. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

In an electric fryer or heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375. Coat fish in batter and submerge in hot oil. Fry until golden brown for about 4-5 min. Serve.
