     Curried Turkey or chicken and Corn Chowder

Ingredients
4cans-chicken broth
1can-creamed corn(540ml)
1tsp-sesame oil
1tbsp-rice vinegar
1tbsp- curry poweder
1-grated peel and juice of lemon
1/2tsp-white pepper
3/4cup-short grain rice
1-red bell pepper
 
3-green onions, chopped
2cups-chopped cooked turkey or chicken
1/3cup-chopped parsley

Instructions
1.)Place large saucepan over medium-high heat.Add first 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a strong simmer. Tilt lid and cook for 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
2.)Add bell pepper, green onions and turkey or chicken. Cook another 5-10 minutes
3.)Add chopped parsley.
Serving Suggestions
serve in hot shallow bowls, accompanied by crusty bread and a salad.
