     Toffee Squares

Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. sweet choc.
1/2 cup nuts
 
Instructions
Cream butter. Add sugar. Add yolk & vanilla. Add flour & salt. Spread on rectangle 10 X 13 greased. Middle rack at 350° for 20 minutes. No more.
Spread chocolate when warm. Sprinkle with nuts.
