Fry a chopped medium onion add a teaspoon of cumin
and a teaspoon of cinnamon then add 2 cups green
lentils and fry a bit then add 5 cups water and
let it cook til lentils are tender but not mushy.
Then add 2 cups rice ,a veg cube and seasoning and
let it simmer til water is absorbed and rice is
done .While its cooking chop a large onion in thin
rings and fry until brown . When rice is ready and
you plate it use the onion to garnish on top. Can
be eaten hot or cold.
