     French Toast

Ingredients
5 tbsp. butter
2 large baking apples sliced
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 in. thick french bread (Texas Toast)
3 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
 

Instructions
Melt butter and apple slices and cook a little until softened. Add brown sugar, syrup and cinnamon until gets caramely. Pour into 9 X 13 pan. Arrange bread over mixture.
Beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread. Refrigerate over night covered.
Heat oven to 375° Bake 30-35 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
