     KIT’S CREAMY ICING FOR WHITE CAKE

Ingredients
4 c. (l lb.) powdered sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1 egg white
1/4 to 1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. almond flavoring
 

Instructions
Combine the egg white, shortening, vanilla, almond flavoring and ¼ cup water in mixing bowl. Beat on low to medium speed till mixed together. Add remaining water and beat on high for 3 to 4 minutes till light and fluffy. Spread on cooled cake. Makes 4 cups.
