1/3 c. shortening
c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
tsp. ground nutmeg
c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
c. butter or margarine, melted

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or Pam spray medium muffin cups or mini muffin cups. Mix shortening, c. sugar and the egg thoroughly in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with milk. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Mix c. sugar and cinnamon. Roll hot muffins immediately in melted butter, then in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Serve hot.
