Preheat oven to 400º. Make crust (trim bottom
crust even with pan edge).
Peel apples. Slice thin. Combine flour, cinnomin,
nutmeg, salt, and sugar. Mix with apples. Fill pie
crust. Dot with butter. Top with second crust.
Fold top crust under bottom crust. Flute edge (no
dough should hang over the edge). Cut slits in top
crust. Bake 400º for 50 minutes.
