1 cup raw lentils
|

1 cup raw rice
|
|
4 cups water
|

1 teaspoon salt
|
|
1 pound sausage
|

1/4 cup flour
|
|
2 teaspoons garlic powder
|

2 cups diced, canned tomatoes
|

1/2 cup chopped onion
|
|
|
|
1/4 cup cooking wine
|
|
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
|

Instructions |
|
|
1. In a sauce pan, cook lentils and rice in water.
Simmer 1 hour.
|

|
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet, brown
sausage and stir in flour and garlic. Add remaining
ingredients and cook til heated.

|
3. Combine mixtures and place in a 9 by 13 inch
casserole dish. Top with cheese and bake for 40-45
minutes.
