     JEAN’S CHOCOLATE CARAMELS

Ingredients
2 c. sugar
2 sq. chocolate
1 c. light corn syrup
2 Tbs. butter (no substitutes)
1 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
 

Instructions
Place all ingredients except vanilla in a pan and beat until sugar is dissolved and chocolate melted. Cook, stirring constantly. Cook until it forms strings when tested in a cup of cold water. Add vanilla. When cool, cut and wrap in wax paper.
