     MARINA’S CREAMY CARAMELS

Ingredients
1 stick butter
2 c. sugar
¾ c. light karo syrup
2 c. heavy cream (1 big purple carton)
 

Instructions
Mix ingredients together in saucepan. Stir. Only add 1 c. cream at beginning. When it boils, add 2nd cup of cream. Don’t stir. Cook over medium heat. Don’t scrape edges. Heat until 245 degrees. Pour in buttered 8 x 8 inch pan. (After you put in 2nd cup of cream. It takes a good 30 minutes.
