Beat egg yolks well.
add butter and mix.
add sugar one cup at a time and mix.
Add milk and mix.
Add flour, baking powder and beat well.
Add egg whites and vanilla. Mix
Grease a round cast iron skillet with crisco and flour.
Bake at 350F until brown.
Makes one layer at a time for a total of 7 layers.
