     Chocolate-Buttermilk Frosting

Ingredients
1/4 C. butter or margarine
3 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
3 T. buttermilk
2 1/4 C. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
 

Instructions
In a med. saucepan combine 1/4 C. butter or margarine, 3 T. cocoa, and 3 T. buttermilk. Bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Add 2 1/4 C. sifted powdered sugar and 1/2 t. vanilla. Beat until smooth. If desired, stir in 3/4 C. chopped pecans.
