Fry bacon until quite crisp; crumble. Reserve 1 ˝ tablespoons of bacon drippings. Add the onion to remaining drippings in pan and sauté until lightly browned. Stir in cornstarch, salt and mustard. Stir in reserved green bean liquid and bring to a boil. Stir constantly. Blend in brown sugar and vinegar; add drained green beans and heat through. At serving time, garnish with crumbled bacon.
