Mix oil and sugar. Add beaten eggs, then vanilla. Add other dry ingredients. Batter is very stiff. Now add apples and nuts. Spoon into tube pan that has been generously greased and floured. Sprinkly a mixture of cinnamon and brown sugar over the top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees
