Cut up 1/2 your strawberries, sugar them (1/2 cup sugar) and let stand for 1 hr
Use Bisquick Mix for sweet biscuits - not cut - drop them - and make them big! Dont' forget to sprinkle the top with sugar - Bake and cool using directions on the box (trust me on this I've done them from scratch and found no difference - so take this shortcut!)
While biscuits are baking - Make the homemade whipped cream.
Remove the bowl and beaters from the freezer. Pour in the whipping cream and mix on high - add in 2 TBS. of powdered sugar (slowly - one at a time) as you whip the cream and add in the 1/2 tsp vanilla. Done when it becomes thick and forms stiff peaks when you pick up the beater. Cover and store whipped cream in the bowl it was prepared in the refrigerator.
Mix 1 TBS corn starch in about 1/2 cup of the liquid gathered from the strawberries.
