     Robrt Redford Cake

Ingredients
Crust--
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1½ sticks butter, softened
White Layer-
1 8oz block cream cheese, softened
1cup confectioners (powdered) sugar
1 8oz tub Cool Whip
Pudding Layer-
 
1 5oz box instant chocolate pudding
1 5oz box instant vanilla pudding
3 cups whole milk
Top Layer-
1 8oz tub Cool Whip
Additional chopped pecans (optional)
Mini morsels or grated semi-sweet chocolate (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. • Mix together the ingredients for the crust and press into a 9 X 13 pan. • Bake until golden brown – about 25 minutes and then allow to cool. • Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Then fold in the Cool Whip. • Spread white mixture over the crust. • Mix the ingredients for the pudding layer (will be really thick – may add a bit more milk if not to your taste). Spread over the white layer. • Cover top with last tub of Cool Whip and sprinkle on the toppings. • Refrigerate.
This can also be done using other puddings – just make sure you use two boxes of your choice. I have made this using 2 boxes of lemon and substituting almonds in the crust.
