     General Pate's Crab Soup

Ingredients
1 onion, minced
2 T butter
1 T flour
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 quart half and half
2 6 1/2 oz cans crabmeat
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup sherry
 

Instructions
Saute onion in butter, stir in flour. Add tomato soup and gradually stir in half and half. Cook 10 minutes. Add crabmeat and season to taste. Heat through but do not boil. Add sherry and serve at once. Makes 4-6 servings.
