     VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP

Ingredients
1 lb. lean hamburger
¾ fresh or frozen cut green beans
1/3 c. chopped onion
½ c. chopped carrot
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cans beef broth
½ c. water
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
 
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 c. cubed peeled potatoes
1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions
In a Dutch oven, cook the hamburger, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve immediately or transfer to freezer containers. Six servings.
