Combine basil, garlic, and pine nuts in food processor or blender until coarsely chopped. Slowly add oil to mixture. Mix in cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. (Add pesto sauce at last minute otherwise it will turn brown)
To add extra flavor toast pine nuts before mixing
