Fruit of your choice - I used strawberries, blueberries, blackberries
Other variations I love are peaches, blackberries and raspberries, and strawberries and Kiwi
Instructions
Directions- Chop, Mix, Layer. Seriously, that's it.
1. Wash the fruit you're using and then peel/slice/chop into bite- size pieces
2. Cut cake into 1-inch cubes
3. Mix cool whip and cream cheese together in a medium bowl
4. Layer the bottom of your trifle bowl with cake cubes
5. Spread cool whip mixture on top of cake
6. Layer fruit (either one type at a time or all mixed together) on top of that
7. Repeat until bowl is full, ending with cool whip mixture.
8. Make a fun design with leftover fruit
9. Refrigerate and enjoy!
Note- You can also make these in individual cups for each guest when entertaining. For traveling purposes, I opted for one large bowl.
