     ICE CREAM SUNDAE PIE

Ingredients
1 graham cracker crust
2 pints (1 quart) vanilla ice cream, softened
1 jar strawberry topping
1 bottle chocolate sundae syrup
1/2 c. chopped nuts
whipped cream or non-dairy whipped topping
maraschino cherries
 

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, stir slightly softened ice cream until smooth. Spoon the ice cream into the pie crust and cover with the inverted plastic lid. Place pie in freezer for several hours, until hard. To serve- Remove from freezer and let stand for ten minutes to soften. Spoon strawberry topping onto serving plate. Cut pie and place slice on plate. Garnish generously with chocolate syrup and other toppings desired. Return unused portion to freezer.
