     Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
8 c. chicken broth
2 c. vegetable broth
1/2 pound cooked chicken, chopped
1 1/2 c. gluten free noodles
1 c. carrots, sliced
1/2 tsp. basil
 
1/2 tsp. oregano
salt and pepper to taste
lentils and split peas to taste

Instructions
In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Cook onion and celery in butter until just tender, about 5 minutes.
Pour in chicken and vegetable broths and stir in chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, split peas and lentils.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving.
