     JOAN'S SNICKER CAKE

Ingredients
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 lb. caramels
1 - 12 oz. choc. chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
 

Instructions
Mix cake mix as directed on box. Pour 1/2 of it into 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake till done, about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. While cake is baking, melt together caramels, milk, and butter in microwave. Stir real well and pour caramel mixture over cooled cake. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over cake. Pour remaining cake mix over mixture and spread evenly over top. Bake for 20 minutes at 250 degrees or for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
