     SUNDAE SAUCE

Ingredients
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. heavy or whipping cream
1/2 c. margarine or butter (1 stick)
2 tsp. vanilla
 

Instructions
In heavy 2-qt. saucepan, heat sugar, cocoa, cream, and margarine or butter to boiling over medium heat, stirring frequently. Remove saucepan from heat; stir in vanilla. Cool sauce slightly to serve warm. Or, to serve later, cool completely, then cover and refrigerate up to 1 week. Reheat before using. Makes about 2 2/3 cups.
