Grease a 9x13 pan with butter. In a pot over med. heat melt the butter and peanut butter. Add in the marshmallows. Turn the heat off and add the cheerios. Stir until all the cereal is coated. Press into the pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips until slightly melted. Let cool. Cut into squares.
