In saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, clour
and salt. Add milk in gradually while stirring. When
mixture is bubbly, stir 2 more minutes then remove
from heat.
Slowly add beaten egg yolks to mixture and return to
heat for 2 minutes - continue to stir.
Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla and stir
until mixture has smooth consistency.
Slice bananas and place in crust. Pour in mixture.
Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Chill for an
hour.
